India defeated Sri Lanka by 302 runs in the Cricket World Cup match played today at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

India batted first and scored 357 for 8 in their 50 overs. Rohit Sharma top-scored with 125, while Virat Kohli made 57.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 55 in 19 overs in reply. Mohammed Shami was the pick of the Indian bowlers with 4 for 19.
